Up to Code!

Our Green Fishing Light is up to the current city codes. The materials we use are all of the highest quality, and are approved for underwater and outdoor use. Our Transformers / Ballasts are housed in Aluminum Housings, and our electrical lines are sealed all the way to the transformer to the underwater light.

Here is a checklist of our lights:

  • Electrical Line Sealed in Conduit
    • Keeps any and all water off of electrical line
  • 4 stage sealing process
    • using the latest in resin and internal glassing technologies
  • Aluminum Transformer Housing
  • Non-Abrasive Weighting System
    • No cement blocks used

Beware of Other Lighting Companies

Beware of lights that use orange or black extension cords in their lights. These are not approved for outside use, and are especially not for use submerged in salt water. The salt water and barnacles easily breaks down these "extension cords", and can cause electrical problems and possible safety issues.

Beware of lights not using a sealed conduit. All of our lights are sealed all the way to the bulb. There is never an ounce of water that touches the electrical line that powers our bulbs. The conduit protects the electrical line not only from the sea water, but also from fish hooks and other underwater formations that may cause damage to a loose wire. Some installers only put conduit near the deck, or do not seal the conduit, and allow water to get inside.
